Curtis Palmer, born in Portland, Oregon,
was raised on the North Umpqua River, famous for its large steelhead
runs. At the age of three he caught his first trout and couldn't wait to get his next fish, while tagging along on his father's fishing adventures. As a youth he spent several summers fishing the lakes and rivers of Oregon, Montana and Canada. In the early 1990s he moved to Montana and spent his free hours fishing about the "Big Sky Country" for German Brown and Rainbow trout as well as Great Northern Pike. After returning home to Oregon and the North Umpqua River, it became increasingly clear that his life would be linked to lakes, streams and rivers. As owner and operator of River Secrets Guide Service Palmer is finally able to share his passion for fishing with his clients as a full time career on Oregon's beautiful wild rivers . |
